ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2011

The 2011 AGM of the City Livery Yacht Club was held at the Royal Thames Yacht Club, Knightsbridge, London on Tuesday 6 December.

The Commodore, Roger Burroughs, reported on the year, which had been a most successful and enjoyable one.

The minutes of the 2010 AGM were approved, before the result of the Election of Officers for 2012 was announced.

Roger Burroughs installed Peter Jeary as Commodore for 2012; and Peter invested John White and Nigel Reese as his Vice Commodores and David Mauleverer, David Church and John Absalom as Rear Commodores. Existing Committee members Edward Sankey, Marina Nicholson, Derek Ross, David Marsh, Nick Havell, Paul Shapiro, Keith Graham and Richard Pickance are joined by Margaret Plumley and Cynthia Robinson. The Immediate Past Commodore and other Past Commodores will serve on the Committee ex officio.

The Honorary Treasurer presented his report and the 2010 accounts, which were approved by the meeting.

The next AGM will be held on 4 December 2012

Following the meeting, drinks and a Christmas buffet were enjoyed by those attending and their partners.
